- Callum Osborne lowered his own record in the boys 15-19 100 yard backstroke on 7/22.

- Callum Osborne set a new team record in the 15-19 50 fly on 7/15.
- The boys 10&U 100yd freestyle relay team lowered their own team record on July 15.

- Congratulations to Henry Drake, Kyle Fagan, Eriks Ziedins, and Liam Harper -- new team record in the Boys 10&U 100 Free Relay!
- Twelve swimmers qualified for the VSA meet ("States") at our first meet on 7/1. Many other swimmers are closing in on their times or achieved personal bests at the meet. Congratulations!

- Our first meet (Thurs, June 24) was cancelled due to inclement weather.
- Elena Bilodeau and Kirsten Osborne are our coaches for 2010! Many swimmers will already know Elena and Kirsten as lifeguards (Kirsten is also WSI certified and teaches swim lessons), and they were both long-time Rapids swimmers themselves before they went off to college.
- Swim team sign-up is at the same time as swim lesson sign-up: Monday, June 7, 6-7pm.
- The first practice of 2010 will be Monday, June 21!
