We are a parent-run summer swim team with an emphasis on fun and improvement. All ages and abilities are welcome!
The Rapids compete in the Green Mountain (Central Vermont) Swim League. We swim at the Town of Waterbury Pool. The team will be coached by Elena Bilodeau and Kirsten Osborne.
Our season begins the Monday, June 21, and culminates for all swimmers in our District meet on Saturday, July 31, and the Vermont State Championships meet (August 7-8, 2010) for any swimmers achieving the qualifying time standards. Practices are held at the pool weekdays, 5:00-6:15 pm. You can swim as often (or as little) as you choose. Most swim meets are held at the Waterbury pool Thursday evenings.
